Biography
Jason Cherniak was called to the Bar in 2006. He worked at a major Toronto law firm while he articled and during law school. During that time, Jason worked on a broad range of legal matters with some of Canada’s top lawyers. You can find more details by clicking on the relevant area of practise from the home page.
Jason was in the top third of his class at Dalhousie Law School, where his team placed first in the Trilateral Moot. For his final semester, Jason worked at Dalhousie Legal Aid, where he gained hands-on defence experience in criminal, family and child welfare cases.
Jason has been published in the Digest of Municipal and Planning Law and the Ontario Expropriation Association Newsletter.
Jason is the President and founder of Blogger Support Services, a non-profit corporation that assists online political activists. He is also the CEO of a Richmond Hill political organization and a member of the Ontario Management Committee for a major Canadian political party.
Jason earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto while attending Trinity College. He earned a double-major in Ethics, Society and Law and in History.
