Biography
Jason Cherniak worked at a major Toronto law firm before starting his own practice. During that time, Jason worked on a broad range of legal matters with some of Canada’s top lawyers. As a sole practitioner, Jason has handled a multitude of cases and been involved in all stages of the litigation process up to and including trial. Jason has been published in the Digest of Municipal and Planning Law and the Ontario Expropriation Association Newsletter.
Jason is is a member of the Richmond Hill Rotary Club and the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce. He is also the CEO of a Richmond Hill political organization and a member of the Ontario Management Committee for the same political party. Jason is President and founder of Blogger Support Services, a non-profit corporation that assists online political activists.
Jason was in the top third of his class at Dalhousie Law School, where his team placed first in the Trilateral Moot. For his final semester, Jason worked at Dalhousie Legal Aid, where he gained hands-on litigation experience.
Jason earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto while attending Trinity College. He majored in Ethics, Society and Law.
